I wandered off into this place, knowing not where I should go. This seemed like the only place I can find my self at a quiet state. I look around at all the junk humans threw out, maybe something was there to remind me of where i belong.

Quietly and quickly a well grown, but severely emancipated, dog trotted through these dangerous grounds. Most would be crazy to even think of coming here, but he was famished and this was the closest place with the scent of food.
Brown eyes darted back and forth, checking to make sure the hostile dogs inside of these ground were no where in sight. Finding nothing, he crept out from his hiding place - behind a large truck - and out into the open, sniffing at the ground, frantically searching for any traces of food.
Instead of food his nose picked up the scent of a female, at first he was worried but then he noticed the scent did not seem like it belonged here. Cocking his head to the side in question, he set out in search of the other daring canine.

Riami felt alone as she searched, it was a horrible feeling to be alone. 'I should head back' she thought in her head, she started to sniff around smelling another dog. Riami ignored it but kept walking.

Quickly closing in the distance between him and the other dog, he kept his eyes peeled just in case one of the residents came out to take care of the two intruding dogs, thankfully he still spotted no one. It wasn't long before the large shepherd mix found himself not far from a smaller black and white mixed border collie. Too afraid to bark, announcing his presents, instead he hurried to her side to nip her hind quarters.
"What the hell are you doing here?" The male whispered in harsh, but questioning, tones. He gave her a quick sniff, making completely sure that she was in fact NOT a junkyard dog.

Riami turned quickly. " I was just looking around, Im sorry! I didn't mean to intrude or anything." She backed away a bit. Riami looked at the dog, and felt even worse. ' Why isn't this dog in a home? Or with a owner, I know he has a good heart in their somewhere.' She thought.

It was easy to tell that she definitely was not one of the junkyard dogs. Frowning he shook his head at her reply, "So pathetic..." he mumbled to himself. With a gentle wag of the tail he gestured toward a large truck with his head. "Let's get out of the open, its not safe here." Still cautious he continued to check their surroundings while heading over to the truck. He hoped the female was following him, but he did not look back to check, though he did look back to see if they were being followed.
Reaching the truck he jumped inside of it and curled up on the seat. Eyes locked onto the open door, watching and waiting for the female to get inside. They wouldn't exactly be safe in here, but at least they'd be out of the open and away from the eyes of the junkyard dogs; though of course if they were smart enough to use their nose they'd easily be found.

Riami looked at him as he walked. She followed him as she looked around she saw many broken items. When she walked she felt nothing but a scared like feeling racing against her. Should I follow him? Or, should I just walk away? Why did I come here? Riami thought about it as she walked. She could'nt decide but she ended up jumping inside of the truck anyway. She sniffed around. Well. she said interested.

Keeping his head rested comfortably on the seat, the older male watched as the female joined him inside of the truck-sniffing her surroundings. Lifting his head up he tilt it to the side as he watched her. She seemed to be oblivious about the dangers around her. It frightened him to think of what would of happened to her if they had gotten there before he had. "Listen pup, you can't just go hanging around this place, its dangerous. If the dogs here spot you, well... Let's just say you don't want that to happen."
Sighing he knew he wasn't going to be able to just leave her here, but he also knew the smell that had tempted him to come to this very place wasn't too far from where they were hiding. Ignoring the rumbling that started to erupt from within his stomach he questioned her with softer tones. "Hey pup, what are you doing here anyways?"

I looked at him and sat. I am sorry for intruding here. I just came to find some quietness. You see I came from my farm place up the road. What I want to know is why are you here? Do you not have any one here to keep you company? By the way I am Riami not "Pup"
Riami's ears flickered. Hmmmm, Are you hungry? I could find food for you if you are. She smiled at him knowing he was hungry and maybe a little sad cause of his lonelyness.

Her reply was quick but only confused him further. She had given a reason for being here, but now she acted as if he were the enemy. Had he been so cruel that he could be mistaken as such? No, he had simply warned her. "I follow where my nose takes me, even if it is to a horrid place such as this." He replied with his answer, disregarding the fact she didn't enjoy being called pup. "I'm Hugo." Now that introductions were out of the way, perhaps he could get her to go somewhere a bit more safe. Or perhaps not.
It hadn't taken the female long to hear the rumbling of Hugo's stomach. Heat rose to his cheeks as she mentioned she could get food for him. Shaking his head, he politely declined her offer. "No thanks pu- I mean Riami. I'm fine." That was of course a lie for his stomach growl fiercely the entire time, opposing his answer. It was nice of her to have even offered, he felt bad rejecting her help but he knew it wasn't wise to send her off in such a dangerous place. "So why here?" He wondered. Why had she chosen this place as the quiet place she was searching for.
