Well, as we were briefly discussing in the Cbox, something with Wolf and Mai.
Mai is a natural loner; she prefers to be alone, although she can handle company for a bit. She is capable of being useful to a pack, if she wishes to be. She runs around a lot, doesn't stay in one place, and a dog that does such a thing tends to hear many things. Helpful things.
However, she tends to react towards any attempts of dominance/getting her into a pack with sarcasm and, if needed, violence.

I like it! Hahaha! This will definitely be a fun friendship. I can't even think of a movie or book with one like it right now. That sort of...I hate you, but I'm attracted to you thing going on.
In the future, they may not really trust each other, but maybe she can provide information for him >] However, since they're both very dominant, they won't completely get along and are very sarcastic and somewhat mean to each other, but in a way it creates this weird friendship between them.

Simple things. Like someplace to rest if she ever needs the additional safety in hard times.
