P A C K . A L P H A SYELLOW WARRIORS: Big Yellow [played by falconx] UNFORGOTTEN: Wolf [played by thexecutive] IN-BETWEENERS: Rook [played by hobbit] R E Q U I R E M E N T SYellow Warriors must be ruled by Big Yellow, a Golden Retriever. Other than his name and breed feel free to make him as you see fit.
Unforgotten's leader must be out of his mind in some way, I don't care how but their must be a reason for the madness he creates with his pack.
In-Betweeners can have any kind of ruler you'd like, however they are required not to be overly caring or overly cruel.
You may either use an existing character or create a new one just for this position; either way after they are accepted you must make sure their biography has been posted and is accepted before you may begin role playing. - Being in Charge
DISLIKES:- Being bossed around
- Fighting

PACK: In-Betweeeners
NEW PACK NAME?: Guardians of Utopia (Just Guardians is good too XD)
HOW YOU BECAME THE LEADER: Thor heard a yelp from the far distance, he froze. Looking around, he spotted nothing, but the air smelled of blood. He raced after the smell, compelled by his instincts, there was no going back. He searched frantically around for where the yelp came from, but did not find its source. Suddenly he crashed to the ground, his left shoulder throbbing from the pain. He was attacked, it was a big dog, much larger than he, and obviously meaner. Thor clawed at his foe, and managed to pull himself up. He faced is enemy, and bared his teeth. No way to avoid conflict. Several minutes later...Heavy panting, blood splashing, and teeth ripping. It only took a few bites. Victory. ~skipping ahead!~ He was elected leader blah blah blah THE END.
HOW YOU'D REACT TO A CHALLENGE: Thor would first cast a vote for who is more fit, then, if the challenger really wished, a totally non-violent fight would take place c:
THE FUTURE OF THE PACK: Thor would try to balance out life, and make it easier to live. He would try to avoid all conflicts, unless it is the last option.

WOLF"Trust no one."
NAME: Wolf NICKNAME(s): None AGE: 4 GENDER: Male SPECIES: Domestic Canine BREED: Black German Shepherd COLOR: Black HEIGHT: 2’ WEIGHT: 77lbs DEFORMITIES: None
PERSONALITY: Wolf is an alpha-type dog. He has gone a bit insane from abandonment and trusts no one, even those who look up to him. He can be quite vicious and secretly misses his family dearly.
LIKES:- Being in charge
- Getting his way
- Night time
- Fighting
DISLIKES:- Big Yellow’s ways
- Taking orders
- Incompetence
- Playing
HISTORY: (first person) I grew up with a very nice family of three, four if you counted the goldfish that died shortly after the incident. I could have saved him if my door wasn’t locked. The man of the house was with the police department. I was trained as a pup in the K-9 unit, eventually becoming his partner as well as best friend. I am a very intelligent dog, having learned quickly and becoming one of the top dogs of all the units.
The main reason they’d adopted me was for their little girl. She was four years old when I’d come into their life. She had a disability and I had also been trained to help, protect, and babysit the girl. She was absolutely lovely and adored me with all the love in the world. Her mother loved me for taking so much care of her daughter and I’m sure her dad couldn’t have asked for a better partner and pet. I’d saved his life and others’ lives on a few occasions.
They loved me…
Where are they now, though? Huh, Big Yellow?! Where are they now!!
(third person) When Wolf realized his humans were taking longer than usual to come home, he did not eat and could not sleep until they did. Eventually, he gave up. He sought help and assurance in Big Yellow. He went back to his home and sat at the front door, waiting patiently for the rescue team to come back. In that time, he was very helpful in the community. He helped with gathering food, trying to mend injuries and take care of the little ones who could not fend for themselves.
Soon enough, the rescue team returned with their bad news, and Wolf became sad. He did not know what to think. His dreams of his beloved owners coming home turned into nightmares. Their scent faded from the house. His love turned into hate and his sadness…into anger.
-----A U D I T I O N . S E C T I O N-----
PACK: Terror Sight
NEW PACK NAME?: Unforgotten
HOW YOU BECAME THE LEADER: Two weeks ago the rescue team came back with the bad news. There was no hope. Each day Wolf was trying to grasp the fact that they were not coming back. Why did Yellow keep saying they were? Wasn’t it obvious that they weren’t? How could he trust anyone’s word? There was no hope…
Plop
The wild rabbit dropped into the pile of food they’d been gathering for tonight’s dinner. “I’ve had enough of this, Yellow,” exclaimed Wolf, an angry look in his eyes. He’d heard everyone talking about him. How he could not handle being abandoned. That he’d been crying and scared. Enough was enough for Wolf, though. He needed to be the strong leader he was trained to be. “Listen up, everyone! Stop listening to this old fool and his lies. They’re not coming back! Come join me, for like you, I have not forgotten what the humans did to us. They abandoned us, left us for dead! And that’s the truth. I will offer you protection without the constant reminder and ache of love from those wretched humans. We do not need to live with this dead hope. Come with me or don’t dare cross my path.”
With that, Wolf reached within and found his wild ancestors, letting out a long, mournful howl.
HOW YOU'D REACT TO A CHALLENGE: Wolf laughed and kept his composure. “Do you really dare challenge me? Have you not seen what I can do, what I’ve already done?” (Challenger) kept staring at Wolf, not seeming to back down either. “Alright then,” said Wolf, unsmiling now. His hackles stood up, his sharp, white teeth bearing. His ears sank to his head; the line of drool fell to the ground as the snarls escaped through his lips. He launched at his challenger with uncanny speed, going straight for the neck…
THE FUTURE OF THE PACK: This pack will reside somewhere in the wilderness, living on what nature has to offer them. They need to stay large in size so no other wild animal can challenge them as a pack. Wolf will protect those who respect his ways and provide to them if needed. They live on the pain caused by the humans. Those who dare challenge them will suffer severely.

BIG YELLOW" we must never forget our past even as we struggle in our present. "
NAME: Big Yellow NICKNAME(s): none AGE: 7 GENDER: Male SPECIES: Canine BREED: Golden Retriever COLOR: dark amber gold HEIGHT: show typical 24 inches at withers WEIGHT: 72 lbs DEFORMITIES: None.
PERSONALITY: Big Yellow is a dog that holds onto the hope that everyone seems to have forgotten. He used to be easy going, the typical excited and friendly golden retriever. Over time and through the trials that all of the domestic animals faced, Big Yellow became somber and rational in every decision he made and every thing he did. Many dogs, Wolf and his followers especially, ridiculed him for being short sighted and a dreamer. Still, he holds strong, convinced of the fact that the humans did not abandon them. Convinced that one day, if he searched long enough, the humans would be found, and so would all of the canines that had went to rescue them.
He believes in being faithful, no matter what the personal cost. Big Yellow tries hard to be rational in everything he does. He thinks before he speaks or acts, and searches for a way to overcome a problem without need for any type of bloodshed. He detests violence and is depressed any time he is forced to fight. Still, loyalty and duty come above all else with him. A trait that all golden retrievers are known for. He will fight to protect his pack, the few dogs that believe as he does, that the humans will return one day.
He's not always so serious. When the moment arises, he takes full advantage of the good times. He loves to just run, or swim, having fun on a summer or spring day. In those rare moments when he isn't forced to be serious and calculating, when he can be the dog that he used to be, sitting and playing with the puppies that his pack has. Big Yellow understands his responsibility, to protect and defend the memories that all the dogs have. So that no one will ever forget the humans amidst all the chaos.
LIKES:- Protecting his pack
- Holding onto hope
- Spring
- Swimming
DISLIKES:- Unnecessary violence
- Terror Sight (& Wolf)
- Winter
- Forgetfulness
HISTORY: Big Yellow was the companion to a historian and his wife. He had a fun loving life, where everything was easy, relaxed, and laid back. He would go for runs outside with his owners and sit with them inside as they discussed the who, what, when, where, and why of everything that happened in the outside world. He never concerned himself with being serious, except for the occasions that his owners would sit and watch the news. He would watch the natural disasters and only be more firmly assured that he had the best life that any dog could dream of.
He woke up one morning, wagging his tail and ready to go outside and swim, when he realized something. His companions, his family, they were gone. Panic set in quickly as he frantically searched the house. They weren't there. Quickly, he realized that there were no humans to be seen anywhere. He heard the yells and cries of the other dogs. Abandoned. That hated word was repeated over and over. When he couldn't take it any longer, he growled at them all. He tried to command attention the way he had seen people on the t.v. do it. He paced back and forth, and constantly made eye contact as he gave a long winded speech.
As he fought to control his own terror, he also sought to calm the others. He was never known for being a leader. But he found that through his life, he was never overly emotional. As efficiently as he could, Big Yellow organized and helped the dogs. He sent out rescue teams, convinced they would come back bringing good news. His own son, Angel, was among the rescuers. They didn't come back. He fought against rising anger and hostility, and against the hopelessness that plagued them all. Three packs were formed, even as he sought to hold them together. A dog that had often sought his reassurance, a dog named Wolf, rebelled. A number went with him. Big Yellow was forced to fight, no only against the deadliness of winter, but also against his old pack mates. The war that ensued created another problem. Those who would not pick a side. Another pack split off. Big Yellow mourned the loss of those that had left, but pulled himself together. A team returned, telling of a wall that trapped them all in. The humans were gone. Still, loyal to the end, Big Yellow reassured everyone that the humans would not leave them, that they would come back. Only a few believed him. His pack, they would wait, and the humans would come back for them.
-----A U D I T I O N . S E C T I O N-----
PACK: Yellow Warriors
NEW PACK NAME?: Not right now. My creativity is blocked XD
HOW YOU BECAME THE LEADER: The humans. They were gone. Big Yellow let out a small mournful bark. He stood, his amber fur barely moving in the scarce wind as his large eyes took in the chaos as all the other animals realized what he already had. They were alone. His ears pricked forward as more cries of the abandoned animals flooded the air. A low growl rumbled in his throat, threatening. It's suddenness brought a rapt silence in the mayhem. Big Yellow had never growled in his life. He was the easy going dog in the neighborhood, who was always romping in his yard, enjoying life to the fullest. No more. He scanned the shocked and pitiful faces of the canines that stared at him, waiting for an explanation. "They did not abandon us." His voice was low, bordering on a snarl. He would not fight them, but he needed to hold their attention.
Small whimpers broke the dead silence. "They would not abandon us." He insisted. Leveling his steady gaze on all of them, he walked forward. "Our humans will return, if we will stay strong together." Birds chirping in the trees was the only sound that met his attentive ears. "When they return, we will be alive and well, and waiting for them. Think of their disappointment and sadness if we were all gone. We are their companions and we will hold firm." He felt the number of eyes on him as he walked. The pressure that accompanied this attention was more than he could bear. He never wanted this. But he would wait. This chaos had to stop, or the humans would return and find their homes and friends in wreckage. "We will stay together and no harm will come." He stopped walking, turning his head slowly and meeting their eyes. Heads dipped in quiet acceptance.
HOW YOU'D REACT TO A CHALLENGE: Big Yellow regarded the challenger with a steady gaze. "What offense have I committed that such a challenge should be issued? Who have I wronged?" His words were spoken with clarity, and no emotion was seen on his calm features. "This pack is to stand united, against the dogs that ravage our lives, those who have forgotten our past. Slowly, he stood from his seated position. His amber fur fluttering slightly with the wind created by his movements. No other dogs made a move. The entire pack was silent, shock and curiosity on every face. Perhaps fear. "Perhaps I am not the best leader, some of you may believe. But surely a tried and true warrior is superior to the unknown?" His ears pricked forward, as if in expectation that he would receive a response.
None came. The large golden retriever sat back down. The soft grass under his paws offering little comfort in the current situation. The challenger did not appear to be swayed by his words. He glanced at the pack. Their reaction was mixed. Some would support the usurper. He bowed his head with a heavy sigh. "For the protection of this pack, I cannot allow another to take my place, should that dog prove unfit to lead. It is a risk that could endanger the lives of too many." His amber colored body grew stiff, and the fur on his neck began to raise. "For their lives, and for the lives of those we search for, I accept your challenge."
THE FUTURE OF THE PACK: The Yellow Warriors will live in the safety of their original neighborhood. Big Yellow will see that they are fed. Hunting and gathering groups will be formed, so that no dog goes hungry. Scouts and sentries will be placed so that the pack will be well protected from the unknown and from the packs that wish them harm. A guard system will be set in place for the packs protection, with an assigned guard for the pups of the pack. Big Yellow will organize everything so that everything runs smoothly, so that when the humans return everything will be in order. Periodically, assigned teams will be sent out, and report back to Big Yellow on the status of the wall, including irregularities or if nothing has changed.

[/img][/center] NAME: Rook NICKNAME(s): Isn’t Rook short enough? AGE: 5 years GENDER: Brute SPECIES: Dog BREED: Cane Corso COLOR: Black, with a small bit of white chest hair HEIGHT: 28 inches WEIGHT: 99 pounds DEFORMITIES: None. PERSONALITY: Rook is one of the more optimistic dogs on this land, though one would be a fool to assume he is unaware of the dark side of things. This brute has always been aware of the darker side, he just chooses to not spend his time worrying about it; worrying, after all, doesn’t do any dog any good. He is definitely one of the dogs who despises sitting around- he needs to do something constructive, whether it be hunting, fighting, or figuring out a way to get the damn imports off the island for good. Given his more optimistic nature, one might assume Rook is outgoing and talkative. He isn’t. The brute is one that tends to stay in the background, analyzing the situation before making a move. To Rook, leaping in without looking is asking for death and he isn’t going to waste his time with dogs of that nature. When it comes to talking, Rook rarely talks, and when he does, the brute tends to have a quiet voice. He doesn’t enjoy yelling, as it gets nothing done; if wolves are worth speaking to, they will listen to him, even if he is whispering. Rook is not the type of dog to hold grudges against others, but he doesn’t forget, and he will swiftly reprimand any beast that behaves in an inappropriate manner. He expects obedience, and if it isn’t given, well, you are in trouble. (And beware, reprimands aren’t always physical; Rook is smart. He’ll figure out what hurts a dog most.) Concerning the humans, Rook does wish to believe they will come back, but he refuses to align himself with Big Yellow. Nor does he wish to align himself with Wolf, as the humans never caused him pain and until they know why they left, no dog can know for sure if the humans are going to return or not. LIKES: - likes here
- doing something
- looking ahead
- optimism
DISLIKES: - unneeded battles
- simply sitting around
- losing yourself in the past
- pessimism
HISTORY: Rook was born to a young, but knowledgeable breeder. She decided to keep the pup, as he was the pick of the litter, and from a young age began to train him in the arts of Schutzhund. While Rook was trained to take down humans on cue, he was an obedient dog, that enjoyed protecting his people and interacting with those at local trials. He made it quite far in the field, but when he was young; his own was killed in a car accident. The dog was handed over to a member of the Schutzhund club, but said person preferred another breed of dog, and so Rook was retired from the sport he loved. Oh, he enjoyed his life, but every so often he would find himself looking out of the window with envy while the other dogs left with the human. -----A U D I T I O N . S E C T I O N----- PACK: In-Betweeners NEW PACK NAME?: Rook is not creative enough to think of a new pack new. HOW YOU BECAME THE LEADER: The humans had left. This was a fact that no dog could deny. The humans had left, but the question was: would they come back? For awhile, there had only been the two extremes: Wolf and Big Yellow. Any dog that wished to align themselves with a pack was forced to choose between “forget humans they suck” or “humans are gonna come back”. It was the equivalent of choosing between the Nazis and Robin Hood. It was why he had wandered around pack less, keeping himself alive through intimidation. It was why he now stood on the porch of his old home, brown eyes directed up towards the moon, as if the man there would reassure the dog and chase away all of his doubts. “I hope this is the right choice,” the brute muttered to himself before tossing his head back. A howl, deep and long, shattered the silence of the night. It weaved between the trees, through the air, wrapping around the audits of any dog near enough to hear it. Come to me, the howl said, and listen to all I have to say. When the howl was through, the Cane Corso dropped his head so that it was level once more, narrowed eyes sweeping the shadows, trying to pick out any sight of a dog creeping nearer. For a moment, he found fear freezing his limbs; what if no dog came? What if all of his planning, all of his ideas, were destined to waste away? Only a few more seconds revealed that this fear was for naught. His ears caught the sounds of others approaching; his nose caught their scents. A welcoming, baritone of a bark broke free from the black dog and then he began to speak, his voice little more than a whisper: “The humans have left us. This is a fact we all know. The argument is whether or not they will return and for quite some time, we have only been able to pick between two extremes. Either they return, or you despise them. This shall be no more. The world is not cast into black and white; there are shades of grey everywhere,” the brute said, his voice strong as he carried on, “Today, a new pack shall rise. We are the greys, the In Betweeners. Humans, friends, may very well return some day, but we must not allow this hope to consume and control us, nor must we allow our hatred to consume and control us. We must survive. If the humans return, then we survived for them…if they do not…nonetheless, we have lived.”HOW YOU'D REACT TO A CHALLENGE: Fighting within pack ranks was a waste of time. His opinion on this matter would never change, but as his eyes found the insolent dog, whose tail curled over its back in a manner screaming dominance, a snarl built up in his massive chest. The alpha lifted his head, eyeing the other dog through narrowed eyes. He was not a violent creature, but disobedience was something he would never tolerate. A pack was like a fine clock; if all of the parts did not work together, in perfect harmony, the clock would not work. As the clockmaster, Rook could not allow this to happen. A light snarl played on his square muzzle as he took a step forward, lifting his massive frame to its fullest height, “You wish to challenge me?” his voice was deadly quiet; even the challenger would have to strain to hear it. “Very well. But understand, if you loose, you will be gone. Disobedience is not tolerated within this pack,” he added before the snarl exploded forth, like an avalanche rocking a mountain. The massive black animal launched himself at his opponent, lips curling away from yellowed teeth. Today, he would fight. Not for his pride, not for his honor…he would fight for the dogs clustered around them; the dogs he had sworn to protect. THE FUTURE OF THE PACK: As of now, Rook’s primary focus is getting the pack, and the animals within it, strong. He wishes to get the animals working together as a true pack, instead of a bunch of beasts thrown together. The brute will organize hunting parties, who will alternate going out once or twice a day, and he will also post guards in their territory. These guards will report to either Rook, or the animal appointed as the head of the guards. They will report at dawn, at noon, and when the sun begins to set. If anything is array, the message will be carried to the alpha, and all animals able will be sent out to fight, if needed. Rook has no intentions of allying himself with either one of the other two packs, but he does not wish to make enemies with them. His pack will be like Switzerland; well armed and neutral to the core. [/size][/blockquote]
