Claimable bios sounds like a great idea. I can even help make 'em if you'd like. That is, if I don't get too attached to the char I'm making xD
I think Rejected bios would make it easier visibly for people to pick up their rejected char and fix things (if it's fixable). Make sure to state a reason why they were rejected too! =]
By npc bios, you mean chars that people can use in their posts as perhaps a side char or something? Or that the events account can use in events? Not very important or main chars? That wouldn't be too bad an idea. It gives the RPers some leeway with moving posts along or controlling side chars.
Inactive would be good too. Perhaps you can combine that with the rejected thread. Maybe even make a rule that if it is inactive it will go in the rejected thread.
I've honestly never played games on a board. Usually it's blocked at work, but if people show interest, keep it up there =]
Role-play help is always a good thread to have. You might want to put it in this board (General).
Stealing members sound like an intriguing idea but I think you need to explain that a bit more to me. I dunno how it would actually work xD

XD thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it. Hahahaha XD I know the feeling of getting attached all too well  Thanks for offering to help with making premade characters. Yay :3 I'll combine the rejected and inactive bios boards, now that you mention it combining them seems more logical. I'll also throw something in the rules about inactivity (for unfinished bios) and make it apparent that you can always redo/fix a rejected/inactive biography. i'm not 100% sure for the npc's yet. but they will probably be for anyone to use BUT the only one allowed to have them breed to another player's character would be the event account... or something like that. they probably wouldn't be all too important, but there for others to use to spark things up or something. hmm.. same here, I don't really get that into the games on forums unless im super bored. but i figured it'd be a nice thing for members to have in between waiting for a reply. (not sure if i should make it so they can't earn bones for posting on there or not.. but i dont see a reason not to :3)  that sounds like a good place to put it in, thanks :3 hmm.. well for stealing members the pack leader would post a riddle for either the other pack leader or the member(s) they are trying to steal to solve. they will be given 3 days to solve the riddle and if they cannot then they must go with whomever stole them. of course their previous pack leader could always steal them back (or even fight to reclaim them if they wish to turn violent). random characters are also allowed to answer the riddle in order to save the animal, however if they get the riddle right they are allowed to take the animal into their own pack (or of course give them the option of going free). itd probably be more aimed at the subpacks stealing members from each other or maybe even a main pack stealing from a subpack. of course anyone can steal anyone from anywhere. -brainexplodes- okay, i think i just confused myself there lol XD |

I've always wanted to run my own board, but I do not have the creative power to think of a good storyline. However, if you need any other help or feedback, I'm more than willing to give it xD
That riddle thing sounds kind of interesting. The only problem, I think, is if it's not an original riddle made up by the leader, people can google the answers and it'll be unfair. There's not really a way you can monitor if people searched or not. We can play around with other ideas to challenge them, though =o

Hmm.. you have a good point. I can't really think of any other ways to challenge someone other than a fight .. perhaps a scavenger hunt? With them needing to find certain objects (or perhaps even ideas/specific events with specific characters) that members talked about in their posts and link back? The only downside I can think of for that is people asking others to find ridiculous things that can't actually be found.

Really? D: if you need like help help, I really wouldn't mind helping you admin or mod or w/e. The only down side is I'm on at work, and sometimes it blocks certain threads and what not. But if I ever took up a position like that I'd get on more at home and stuff =]
Hmmm...Scavenger hunt sounds cool. I'm just not sure how it would work. What would they be looking for? Maybe like...a questionnaire about the alpha or something. Like...favorite color, human's name(s), best friend...or something? Of course it would have had to be mentioned in one or more RPs.
I know what you mean about the main packs prolly not doing it though. It would be too big a jump in personality if like...Yellow tried to steal from Wolf. That RPer would have to modify their char's personality and that's not the funnest things to do =[

Oooo I'd actually really like that hehe. That sounds like a good idea, find out something about the challenger and post it as your answer. Hmm.. stealing should probably wait until a foolproof way can be figured out. Yeah, and I don't think the main packs would really need to steal all that much, since they should (theoretically) be the largest of all packs anyways. OH! I'm working on the UBBC break down thread right now, thanks for suggesting that hehe. |

Really? It'd be cool to help you out more =] I can make a separate account for that kind of role, though. I like making things separate; keeps me organized. And I'm sure it'll be nice for you to have an extra pair of eyes out =D
I'll try to control my character count though xD Otherwise I'll have a bunch of accounts. Or...I can prolly just make one for like "Unforgotten" chars (or other packs), "Infected" chars, and "Moon Runners". Maybe I'll do that xD
We'll think of something =] or maybe someone will see this and chime in their suggestions =D

Yeah But you can have this account be staff, since Wolf is an Alpha anyways so it works. Hahaha, yeah besides its boring to make decisions all by yourself. :3 XD hahaha that seems like a good idea. Or you can be complicated and just have one account and massive amounts of characters -insertnotsoevillaughhere-. I'm sure we can figure something out! Or someone else will lol. I just thought it'd be interesting to allow members' characters to steal each other. Okay hopefully it will be completed and informative by the time you look at it XD I'll send you a message! |

Since the auditions are closed you should make a separate thread or something under the bios that list the pack leaders. You can also list sub packs when they form too =] and add a link to the stats and form the alphas created.

You should add to the wall. Some kind of domed fence (like an aviary) or maybe even some high tech barrier. 'Cause unless the wall goes to like...outer space, birds can fly over it. =o

Hmm. I didn't even think about the birds lol.. I suppose there could either be some sort of semi-invisible (thin mesh wire top) the covers the area, but I think its such a large surface for it to cover I would say force field buuut I doubt the gov could actually make one of those XD
Or perhaps the birds can simply fly over it, but when they do are shot down (not killed but tranquilized) somehow magically don't break too many bones annnd are thrown into some sort of experiment.
Or they just know not to go over it? idk XD

For the birds, I have a few ideas:
1) They can be tranquilized, like you said, and dropped back over.
2) It can be a wall and then a dome, which the other animals don't know about because of the whole wall dealie...kind of like in Stephen King's book.

The shooting thing is a good idea. It's like they figured it out...birds go over, and they don't seem to return or they hear gunshots... =o
But yeah, the dome is exactly what I was thinking xD I just don't want it to interrupt works of nature, like wind and oxygen levels.

Hmm dropped back over would work BUT since they came out of a quarentine zone they'd probably be destroyed/taken back to do tests on.
I mean if people liked the idea of their animals being captured and tested on I can make a category just for the laboratory and make it have a few different parts were they can be rped at. Personally I like this idea and it'd give things a nice twist (because members can control what happens during the testing and have their own chance at escaping once and for all)
Along with this idea I'd probably allow members to create humans which work in the facilities.
But if not I will look into the dome idea to see if there's some sort of scifi dome that doesn't effect oxygen, air flow, rain, etc.
